You'll earn rewards from your subscription to the protocol. These rewards determine your APY.
Once you've received rewards, you can calculate your APY using the total annualized rate and mining yield, both of which change in real time based on supply and demand for the services and assets.
For PoS staking products, rewards distribution time varies due to the on-chain staking mechanisms. Rewards could be distributed daily, weekly, or upon redemption along with the principal.
For some protocols, rewards are distributed the day after your redemption along with the principal, at about 12:00 UTC daily.
